LRM Slope Correction Attitude Monitoring

Source: L2i (LRM, SAR, SARin) · Variable: offset_attitude_20_ku

The echo attitude in LRM mode: the angle between the nadir vector and the echo point vector, from the slope correction of the LRM heights over ice sheets. 0 where no slope correction is applied (ie over ocean), which is excluded. Note: the product gives the units as radians, but the values (median ~0.1 over the flat Antarctic interior, where surface slopes are ~0.1 degrees) are consistent with degrees.

Area

Only LRM mode measurements are used. Product values of 0 (not computed or not applied) are excluded.
