Polar Maps of Crossover Density
This section provides spatial polar maps of crossover density per 10km2 grid cell from 30-day & 60-day datatakes of L2 GDR-A.
The first crossover data take starts from 18/10/2010, following the switch to SIRAL-A at the end of the commissioning phase.
Crossover density in this case is calculated from crossover data points with < 1.0m elevation residual only.
Crossover density of all crossovers (valid and invalid) can be seen in the Orbit plot section.
